Abuse should never be tolerated but dialogue and explanation is
a better solution than punishment for speaking out

To be fair, if you have reflink an awful lot of confusion about
the ref's decisions is cleared up.

I think the ref/tmo should recognise that there are a lot of
people in the ground who are kept in the dark.
They could easily communicate to the fans as well.
Eg. When Louis stepped into touch when scoring.
The South stand was imploring Barnes to take a look. When he
didn't, we started booing.
Clearly, we hadn't seen the replay that showed a foot in touch.
Would it really have killed then to just put the image on the
big screen?

I'm always a little concerned when incidents that the officials
may have missed (like a foot in touch when scoring a try) are
replayed often several times in quick succession seemingly in an
attempt to get the attention of the officials so they can
review. Assuming it is the home club that determines what is
shown on the big screen in normal play (ie not for a TMO review)
it does rather smack of home advantage doesn't it?
(Clearly not for us as we are obviously so honourable that we
would always replay missed incidents that would benefit our
opponents!).

Don’t they just show the live BT feed at the Stoop during the
replays.

I would think the American Football version would work, where
Wayne just announces over the tannoy "No try! Foot in touch.
Scrum 5 Leicester" or some such would work. A bit harder to know
what to say for the Dombrandt/Marler incident, but that's pretty
rare!

Judging by the number of people booing, They didn't show it for
very long.
But, in defence of the South Stand massive, the big screen is
over our right shoulders. Whereas, Barnes was stood on our left
hand side. So, we would have had difficulty watching them both
at the same time.
