Just looked at prem rugby regulations, league position on same
points are number of wins then pts difference. Not sure it make
       much difference mind.

Well, that's not true. What if the other team believes the first
team are underdogs and approaches the game differently as a
       result?
But anyway, the point is that being labelled as underdogs can
give a team a boost because there's not the external pressure of
expectation - and indeed perhaps the boost of "let's show them
they're wrong" - without the players themselves ever needing to
believe they should be or are underdogs.

I would suggest some phraseology as the next logical step in
our development of the verb "to Quin" is:
       --- Quote ---
       > We Quin'd them
       --- End Quote ---

For example, in the 2012 semi final in Bristol we were 28-0
       down, Quin'd them, and won.

I prefer "to Quins" - so we Quins'd them. Sounds nicer, I think.

Wot is an auto-tick? And why might it "even the score"?

Disappointing loss last night, but 2 points is better than
nothing and probably takes Exeter out of contention for 4th.
Looking at the permutations, the worst scenario is that Saints
and Gloucester take maximum points from their remaining fixtures
(10 for Saints, 15 for Gloucester) and we get nothing.
That would take Saints up to 78, Gloucester to 77 with us
staying on 74. It’s not impossible, but fairly unlikely given
both play Saracens and we face Gloucester.
This could well change again by 5pm today. Firstly, I don’t
think it’s a given Gloucester best Bath. On form, they should,
but Bath have significantly improved recently, they’ve got a
number of top players back and in a local derby, form does tend
to go out of the window a bit. Even if Gloucester do get 5
points, we have the opportunity to kill off their challenge next
round. They could beat us with a BP, but I don’t see us getting
0 from that game. The only way I see them winning on the final
day is if Saracens rest a lot of players, but I’d be very
surprised to see a BP win. Again definitely possible, which is
why we need to make it an irrelevance at the Big Stoop.
I doubt Saints will beat Saracens. Again, it’s possible Saracens
rest a load of players, but Saints don’t tend to do as well
against physical teams that play more formulaic, structured
rugby. They score a lot of tries, so if they win, it’s possible
that if they win, they get a BP. I can easily see them getting a
       BP win against Newcastle.
All very hard to predict, but I don’t think it’s likely that
Saints and Gloucester get maximum points and we get 0. It’s
definitely possible we drop to fourth, but I’m not sure that’s
the worst outcome as I’d rather go to Welford Road than the
       Stonex.

Bath laying down for Gloucester ATM. All too easy.
Makes next round a proper showdown - I guess our play-offs are
starting a couple of weeks early.

2 games to go, 7 points clear of them and 6 clear of Saints. I
think we will be fine tbh.
