LEWIES RETURNS FOR QUINS’ TIGERS CLASH

CLUB CAPTAIN STEPHAN LEWIES RETURNS TO FITNESS THIS WEEKEND AS
HARLEQUINS HOST LEAGUE LEADERS LEICESTER TIGERS IN TWICKENHAM
As the reigning champions host the top of the league,
Harlequins’ coaching group has made just two changes following
last weekend’s European clash with Montpellier. Alongside
Lewies’ return, flanker Luke Wallace steps into the starting XV
in the seven jersey in place of the injured Will Evans.
Amongst the Impact Players, backrow duo James Chisholm and Tom
Lawday return to the matchday 23 to wear the 20 and 21 jerseys
respectfully as Quins opt for a 6-2 split of forwards and backs
from the bench.
Harlequins will dedicate this Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership
clash to former Harlequin Seb Adeniran–Olule and the Foundation,
Seb’s Foundation, set up by his mother following his tragic
early passing in May 2016.
Head Coach Tabai Matson said: “It is always a fantastic arm
wrestle when teams have contrasting styles and the way that
Leicester play and the reason they have been so successful is
that they are very good at what they do.
“They are very pragmatic and it will be a tough day for us if we
aren’t on top of our own performance. We’re looking forward to
playing the Harlequins Way against the league leaders. It will
be a fantastic challenge for us.
“Off the field this weekend, this team and club is incredibly
proud to be celebrating Seb’s Foundation. This is a cause
particularly close to all our hearts and we cannot emphasise
enough what a fantastic job the Foundation and Seb’s Mom does
raising funds to give young people opportunities they otherwise
wouldn’t have had.”

Great so evans did get injured last week. Really praying his
recovery is swift this time,i had honestly forgotten quite how

Shame WEv is out again, but that aside that is a very strong
team and a strong bench.
Looks like Borthwick has put out the strongest team he can,
though that's quite an inexperienced back row and looks like a
second choice centre pairing. Closing down Nadolo will be
important, I think.

I feel he was deliberately targeted last week so may be well out
