One does have to chuckle on the point that the Irish detest us
English so much yet many of their senior coaches in the
club/country set up are English...

Well his contract is for two years just right to be available
for post the 2024 world cup, so may be he is hedging his bets

I wonder if Jerry Flannery was interested/considered ? Nev, he,
and Adam Jones will probably be looking at international roles
post RWC 23, don’t you think ?

Nev, Jerry and Adam have just signed new contracts for permanent
employment and Adam is moving family up, so not very likely.
