Last one I purchased was the 150th year shirt. Nothing since
then has really done it for me. That horrible khaki effort
though...since when was khaki in the Quins colour palette?

Talking about colour palettes.
Aren't we supposed to have dark blue in the colours as well?
I thought that we traditionally played in blue shorts.

White shorts when I joined in the early 90s. Then black. Don't
remember blue but if it was very dark blue ...

I knew I had seen it somewhere -
"The Harlequins colours are French grey, magenta, chocolate, and
light blue. These are reversed on the back of the jerseys.
The original colour of their shorts (or “knickerbockers”) was
dark blue. The minutes from a meeting in 1906 show that they
were now playing in white knickerbockers."

Would be happy with the home shirt but for me the winner is that
white away shirt. Have never bought an away kit but would
happily get that one.

Tim Visser would have worn knickerbockers - he's Dutch; the term
originated from typically rich Dutch immigrants in NY in mid
17thC and their preference for laced up, baggy knee-length
shorts. Gave its name to NY Knicks - short for...

One of the strips in the last couple of years (I think 18/19)
had Prussian Blue shorts

Interesting. What shirt went with that?
Also wonder if the kit designers knew of the significance.
