Friday, Saturday and Monday
• London Waterloo to Salisbury stopping services will start from
Basingstoke.
• London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford fast services will
depart London Waterloo earlier.
• London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services and London
Waterloo to Alton services will run combined to Woking where the
train will divide. These services will call additionally at West
Byfleet.
• London Waterloo to Chessington South services will be revised
and will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Dorking services will be revised and will
not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Shepperton services will be revised and
will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Guildford via Epsom services will be
revised and will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham services will be
revised and will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Hampton Court services will be revised and
will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to Woking stopping services will be revised
and will not call at Vauxhall or Earlsfield.
• London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Kingston
services will only run between Kingston and London Waterloo via
Richmond.
and
Ascot area
The lines in the Ascot area will be closed all days inclusive
from Friday to Monday due to maintenance work. Friday, Saturday
and Monday
• London Waterloo to Reading services will terminate at Staines.
• Buses will run between Staines and Reading.
• London Waterloo to Weybridge via Staines services wil be
diverted after Staines and will terminate at Windsor.
• Buses will run between Staines and Weybridge.
• Ascot to Aldershot services will not run.
• Buses will run between Ascot and Aldershot.

Thanks - I missed the significance of the Staines/Wokingham bit
affecting Ascot. Luckily doesn't affect us but there always used
to be a few coming in from Ascot and beyond for England games at
least.

It's my usual route: Didcot Parkway - Reading - Twickenham. I've
had loads of times when there's been replacement buses running
in some sections (Ascot to Bracknell was a common one a few
years back, as were the diversions to Hounslow while the station
was being rebuilt). This week I'll have to go cross London,
either going Didcot-Paddington-Waterloo-TW or Oxford
Parkway-Marylebone-Waterloo-TW. I'm tempted to do the latter as
Marylebone is quieter than Paddington & the Chiltern line is a
little more comfortable!

Thats SWT you seen the troubles between the South East Coast and
London ie Brighton Worthing Eastbourne and Hastings and those
lines

If 500 can drown out the Bristol faithful and 5000 can shout
down the tomahawk chant. 1000 can make the (formally known as
Not) Nots put their fiddles away then 7000 can spur the team
onto greatness.
Yes its frustrating that the 14k won't be there but they have
their own reasons so let those of us who will be there carry the
vocal load, even the West Stand!!!!

I'd also get the Reading to Twickenham train. Terminating at
Staines? There's not many worse places I can imagine ending a
journey...
