Why Bristanbul?

Why is our heroic comeback at Ashton Gate in the semi last year
referred to as Bristanbul? Is there some connection with
Istanbul? Was there a siege of Istanbul (I know that there was
a 'fall' of Constantinople). Always wondered... Today's TV
commentary made reference to it again, so I thought I'd ask. Am
I missing something really obvious?

It's a Danny Care reference to the Liverpool comeback in the
Champions League Final in Instanbul where the clawed their way
back from 0-3 down to win on penalties.
I have tried several times to persuade people that Bristanbul is
Quinstantinople, even writing a song about it [1], but no-one's
having it.
[1] OK, parodying and already parodic song about it.

In case anyone's interested. I was quite proud of some of the
lines, though it's very hard to sing over the original track as
I had to flip the "is" and "was" of the placenames.
If you want to try singing along, it's to the tune of "Istanbul"

Nice work Poorfour, I can see that catching on, might need the
DJ to play it a bit and get the tune in peoples heads and then
adapt to it....
