News article (in Italian) suggests we've signed a lock from
Benneton - Never heard of him, but South African 197cm + 117kg
-Wonder whether a replacement for Tizard or potentially means
that one of Lewies or Symons are retiring

Haven't seen him play but he looks solidly built and at 28, has
plenty of seasons left!

We need bothers for sure but does he do anything else? The odd
offload, catch or even 5 yard dash would be nice.
Where CSW? Wasn’t he a big bosh signing

CSW played in the Prem cup game the other day. He is working his
way back to Rugby fitness from static to highly explosive
American Footie.
He looked okay in the highlights. He had at least one really
good offload and hit his rucks. Hopefully, we will get up to
speed. The coaches will be doing everything to do so, we need
him with Tizard off at the end of the season.

Makes sense. Doubt he will break the bank. If Symmons is going
along with Tizzard that would leave us - Lewies, CSW, Hammond,
Lamb and Jurevicius. Lewies has had his injury troubles (as does
Lamb to an extent). Theres no one else in the academy ready to
step up yet so I'd say another lock is a good idea.

Very solid defensively, but many of the lineouts looked to be
uncontested and he only made a metre trundling before being
bundled over...

Even if Symons isn't going anywhere, Lewies' injury record
suggests we would need cover, especially as Jurevicius looks
more like a flanker to me.
