Russell was decent. Doesn't place kick for Racing though.
Machenaud did until he was subbed.
Indeed an odd game. Stade's defence fell apart second half. Very
French in that the away side often struggles for momentum.
Would have loved to be in Brentford (how often can you say
that?) but was in Paris anyway en route for Spain.

You need it in Dunedin in the Winter though, not sure Paris has
the same weather challenges.
Love the Stade Jean Bouin as well, had a couple of great nights
there....

During the rugby season, Dunedin is is on average sunnier,
warmer and drier than London & Paris. They just need to HTFU.

Well, I'm sure every place has it's weather patterns but I know
the 3 day's I spent there, including a game at the old House of
Pain in 2009 it was pigging freezing and snowing and as yet,
haven't had that repeated in Paris, hence my view.
That said, my Kiwi guide did say it was unusual re snow but not
the cold

Likewise when I was last there it pissed down solidly for 48
hours and the sun only came out as I was on the bus back to the
airport! My point about the weather stands though :)
The coldest I've ever been at a rugby match was at the Stoop a
couple of months back - can't remember which one - combination
of cold, damp and wind was brutal.

Ooh, there's some competition. A toss up between the away game
at Ulster in horizontal rain (certainly the wettest) and a
London v the North regional game in the early 1990s (remember
them?) at the Stoop standing on the bank where the east stand is
now. Raining at kickoff, sleeting at halftime and snowing at the
final whistle.

Anybody remember Sale's old Edgeley Park stadium? In the snow
and rain the pitch was sometimes of doubtful quality and was
pretty muddy. Wasps refused to play there once.

Ah pizzagate.
Wasps were (allegedly) playing a similar card to their frequent
need for uncontested scrums.
