As some of you may be surprised, I am apprehensive about today.
LI have had some luck over us over the years and have gone about
their business well, certainly benefiting from a squad not
really impacted by the 6n, which has created some fairly gelled
performances.
I’m hoping our 6n contingent hit the ground running, rather than
a “few weeks off so a bit sluggish” type approach as LI,
certainly through Rona and OHC will capitalise on it.
I think the first 20 will be crucial. Scrum wise I’m confident
we will have the edge, but the backs I’m more concerned about.
Hopefully Jones continues his little purple patch (as opposed to
his earlier involvements which essentially was a penalty given
away every time he touched the ball).
Hope you are all sitting down for this prediction,
Irish 15 Quins 19

Irish in peace.
If Quins do win by 4, then I'd think the scoreline would be more
like Irish 31 Quins 35.This is 2 teams that like to come out and
play some running rugby.
Welcome to the (large number of) Quins supporters making the
trip down the road. There should be a great atmosphere.
To the neutrals watching on TV, you could well be in for a
cracking game.

I’m much more of an optimist than @Maidstone Quin but I’m also
worried.
I think @Narbia’s prediction is closer.
Bye weeks can be a bit of a blessing and a curse. Does Tabai
giving the guys a week in the sun pay dividends or does it give
Irish the opportunity to catch us in holiday mode?
Irish are coming off the back of two heavy defeats on the road.
On the one hand, I expect them to want to bounce back against a
rival. On the other hand, those heavy defeats suggest that there
are vulnerabilities we can exploit. I can definitely see it
being a high scoring game and if that ends up being the case, I
think we are better at winning loose end-to-end games. It’s not
too hard to see try bonus points for both sides.
I see us winning something like 40-33. If we lose, I still think
we’ll get 2 BPs.

Irish have a track record of high scoring draws-so we could get
3bps!

Not that many here. I thought it was supposed to be close to
sold out.

Why did Luke come off? And I’ve just seen we’ve conceded…

HIA I think, after a tackle he made.

Northmore went off for a HIA. I'm not sure what happened for the
try, we had a lineout and then all of a sudden BT showed them
with the ball and a knock on advantage

LI seem to be just disruptive. Preventing any momentum. Making
it a very stop start game, preventing scrums and lineouts from
being completed.
