Having been there, I can confirm that from where I was sitting
-well away from the massed ranks of Quins supporters - we were
collectively, far more vocal than the Oirish. Those drummers
were just behind us but they went very quiet in the second half;
very satisfying.

We rode our luck at times, but ultimately played pretty well.
The margin of victory probably flattered us a little, but adding
27 to our points difference and BP win is an extremely
satisfactory day’s work.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt as confident about the whole squad.
I’d say we’ve had some slightly better starting XVs over the
years, but the way players across the squad seem to be able to
drop in and perform now, is really impressive. Hammond and
Jurevicius are the latest to slot in and look like they’ve
played 30+ senior games.

Being louder, chanting more, singing loudly etc is the
supporters' "job" so no worries if Irish fans found that a bit
painful as they went further behind. I also can hardly bear
hearing the self-satisfied singing of the opposition when we are
getting stuffed. It's hard to listen to for sure. But that is
what happens on a bad day under the scorching heat of the Mighty
Quins - COYQ is what I say!

Especially when it is the away fans.
Possibly there were one or two isolated obnoxious individuals
but, as a whole, we were loud and funny and didn't stop chanting
and singing throughout. If that was the problem for the Irish
fans who posted then please tell them not to go to Gloucester!!!
Anyway, the boys played very well today and looked really
inspired and connected. Having the full squad back for this run
in is so fantastic. Well done to the wider squad for keeping us
in the top 4 (throughout the whole season, I am pretty sure),
now let's finish the job off and push for that home semi!

Thought lawday was absolutely incredible again. His work rate is
sensational. I read he's hit the most defensive rucks in the
league, and it doesn't surprise me. He's started pretty much
every game this season all across the row given wev, kenningham,
chis, dommers absences and for me the injured guys need to play
themselves back in. Our player of the season for me.

Agreed. When Exeter were in their pomp and they used to take
over the Kings bar post match with the tomohawk chop I couldn't
bear it. But I don't think they were being obnoxious.

Jurevicius progressing nicely but Hammond seems to have motored
up a gear in his progression. Even with Tiz leaving I think we
have our best collection of locks in a long time. I hope to heck
Symons stays around for as long as possible as he's still the
daddy!

From the replay it looked like the ball hit his hand as he went
in for the tackle, however, his number overall is a little
worrying.

It was a very pleasing win.
The squad is looking in very good shape, I still think the
missing players would make a difference but the "stand in"
players are doing well.
I thought the Nots were lucky not to get a yellow for the elbow
drop by creevy, that was unpleasant.
DC's yellow was just a bit careless, knock on the tackle for me.
I'd rather we end up 4th. I don't think anyone will dislodge
Tiggers from 1st and I don't think Sarries will get less than
3rd. I'd rather play Tiggers in a semi. We can turn HQ into a
home match against Sarries and win against the anti rugby team.
Hopefully we break them like Briz and Chiefs 😈
