Its not inferior but its less popular. Do Tv companies pay the
same No, Do Shirt Sponsors pay the same No, Is Advertising the
same No - For Soccer you pay a lot more. However Fans are
expected to pay the same or more in some instances.

Ticketing revenue is almost (but not totally) irrelevant to
premiership football clubs so it's not really a like for like
comparison.

I don't really understand what you are suggesting here either -
is this about how many are donated to the foundation and you
would like to know how many cups are donated and therefore the
money given to the foundation?
I am sure I have seen it mentioned on a couple of occasions how
much money was received this way but unable to find at the
moment.

That is not true, it might be to 1 or 2 clubs but for most,
match day revenue is an essential for the business.

Less popular yet due to our success last season we have sold out
every home Premiership game so suggests the match day ticket
price is ok - personally I think it is higher than it
should/could be, but that doesn't mean it is wrong.
Your TV and Sponsorship comparison is not the same, this does
come down to the size of the target audience. Lots more people
watch football globally so TV revenues and sponsorship is going
to be higher.

Maybe it is better to compare with sports other than football.
Middlesex cricket v Derbyshire Day 1 - next Thursday costs £20 a
ticket. (This is for two 3rd division teams)
The price is the same as our Tuesday game.
20 over games are £20 to £40. From my experience, it is very
difficult to see the ball if you sit in some of the cheaper
seats.
Tickets to the hockey are from £17.50 to £65 going up to £110 to
see all games.

ProD2 has a ton of money and French rugby benefits hugely from
municipal stadia

They've gone back to 2 divisions for the 2022 season.
Always amazes me how cheap cricket season tickets are in
comparison to the day ticket prices, but guess that is the
benefit of having a huge ground that you have zero chance of
filling for most games. Middlesex membership is £245. Surrey is
£154 but doesn't include T20.

I understand about the municipal stadiums. I know that their
league is televised - so they get some TV money.
But - do you know why they have a ton of money?
I don't really understand how France makes it work and we can't
- they also have big competition from other sports, etc.
- but, maybe this is a discussion for another topic.
