For a start £35 being cheapest price is ridiculous that is
football prices.
The losses are a smokescreen when are people going to
understand that its the Premiership rugby side of the business
thats losing money (and every club does that). Its the companies
associated with the club that make money.
This was a clever exercise last evening as it gave the money
grabbing side of the club a chance to justify a huge hike in
prices.
Does the idiot realise that peoples money will run out.
Look at Tuesday £21 the cheapest seat for an A Team game, he is
in Cuckoo land wonder how many they sold.
I wish people would stop believing Quins Putin and start
Challenging him.
One other point the £1 cup scheme why don't the club publish the
number they get back after each game - I hope some of you see
what I'm suggesting is going on !!!!!!

Don't believe his message not I don't like it, he tells us what
he wants whether its the true accurate picture.
Do you not think charging £21 for an A team game is idiotic
behaviour?

I'm not sure that I do see what your suggesting.
I was under the impression that the £1 cup refund went to the
foundation charity - maybe you know more?
As for the Tuesday game - I wasn't expecting a full house. But,
there were more people there than I expected. A lot of people in
the south stand seemed to have printed tickets (i.e. not season
ticket holders). So, I think that sales were okay.
Also, for me, I'm not sure what the football comparison is. I
have little interest in the round ball game. I am not going to
start going to watch foobball just because is is a similar cost.
I also think that there needs to be a comparison with lower
leagues. This weekend's game at Ealing costs £20 to £25 for a
ticket for a game that may be very one sided (although I hope it
isn't). I also paid £20 to watch London Scottish earlier this
season. It was a standing ticket; the view was obscured; there
is no big screen; there is no firework/light display; no post
match entertainment; etc.
So, it would be interesting if you could explain a little
further.

There wasn't a lot of people in the south stand
How many people go to championship games? Perhaps if they
charged a sensible price it might be a lot more.
Premiership games of Football cost about £35 on the bottom of
the price structure.

It still leaves us making a loss of over £2m for the season so
clearly isn't the reason we're making a loss (and £100 was a
dramatic figure that they would never do). That's why I was
interested what % of total revenue it accounts for. As others
have said... the fact that all clubs in the league apart from
Exeter are running at a loss shows what the problem is.
I fully expect the season ticket prices to go up but do think
they need to be careful as it's easy selling tickets at the
moment but might not be so easy if we don't continue to perform
on the pitch. The ticket sales for the Montpellier game have
proved that you can't just charge what you want and expect to
fill the ground.

The same as a Quins premiership game, is our product inferior so
should be cheaper?

You might not be interested in football but an awful lot of
people are interested (a lot more than rugby) so Quins ticket
prices do need to be comparable if we want to continue to
attract supporters who aren't diehard Quins fans.

Agree re Montpellier game and there may be a few reasons.
1 - Price of tickets for members.
2 - Easter weekend
3 - It could be a dead rubber based on the result from previous
week.

I saw that there were 5000 people at the game. This exceeded my
expectation. I wasn't expecting a full house.
I think that the amount they are charging for championship games
is probably about right. What I do think is that they need to
improve the product they are selling. I support a Pro-D2 club in
France. The product is more akin to a Premiership game. At
Championship games I have been to - there is no kids
entertainment/mascots, no band, no flag waving, etc.
Richmond/London Scottish doesn't even have a big screen to watch
replays.
