To add a bit to the CSW debate, I heard him talking with some
friends by the red zone at the end of the match and he said that
after 5 minutes his lungs were having a conversation with him
but with time played he picked up. He noted that the speed of
the game was a step up from Championship where he has been
playing the last few weeks and further recognised that Prem
rugby would be even faster; he also commented that it was easier
picking up the rhythm starting than coming on later. From what
we saw on Tuesday IMHO he will be a good addition to the squad,
a good solid running unit with some neat offloads, when the
match fitness comes which can only happen with game time.

He might come good, but time isn’t on his side as he’s 30 not
       20. For the time he’s had, to still not be match fit, or at
least fit is perplexing considering how long he’s been on the
       books.
He’s certainly got some bulk and power for sure, but I’m not
sure he’s going to get the game time he needs to get to the
level he needs, as Even next season there’s a fair few ahead of
him even if Symons retires as rumoured
