Not too sure how our coaches will approach this game, we win and
we are guaranteed a home semi and the rest of the season can
look after it's self. We do seem to be selecting a rotated squad
for away games and concentrating on winning at home with our
strongest squad, but we are now at the sharp end of the season,
as well as we have done so far, we haven't won anything, so we
might just target this game to give us a breather next week
before the Leinster game. Either way I am happy with how our
season is going so far.

If Quins (and Sarries, tbf) can just win the remainder of their
games I'd be very happy. Means Chiefs, Saints and Gloucester are
all losing 2 of the remaining 4 rounds.

And so you should be. It's been a compelling turnaround and
Tigers have shown they can both win in style and grind it out
when it's not working for them. But the next couple of weeks are
going to demand some tough choices around squad management.

Quins, on the other hand, have 4 basic styles of play:
1. Win in style
2. Win in style in the last minute
3. Fail to win in the last minute, but in style
4. Get absolutely hammered by a much more physical team.
Traditionally, teams that play this way tend to divide their
games fairly evenly between (1) and (4). What's remarkable about
Quins is that our split so far this season has been about 40%
(1), 25% (2), 25% (3) and only 10% (4).
It's nerve-wracking, but it makes for lots of tries and almost
as many points.

I think this weekends selections ( and results) will be very
informative. Assuming Gloucester get awarded some points for the
Worcester game cancelled (presumably 4) that puts them firmly in
the mix to try and catch Exeter or maybe us. Exeter and Sale
only have 3 more games due to the 13 in the league and two of
Exeter's are against teams above them away to Sarries this
weekend and home against us on the final day .Although Bristol
are out of contention they will still be a problem to overcome
in their local derby at home to Exeter as well.
Tigers may well have the easiest premiership run in(as well as
already having almost secured a home semi final) but as already
mentioned have to juggle that with the prem cup semi final and a
massive game at home to Leinster plus any subsequent rounds if
they get through.
Sarries play 3 out of the top 6 (if you include a 4 point added
to Gloucester) plus they have a challenge cup semi final but
suspect they have a strong enough squad to see their final
fixtures through relatively unscathed .
We actually probably have the hardest run in with four games all
against teams with top four ambitions but with the gap for
Europe we should be able to field our strongest 23 available
each game if we choose to.
Saints Sale and Gloucester are all looking for the top four to
slip up (we play two of them) in order to get in the top four
but potentially have the easiest run ins apart from maybe
Leicester.
All in all we will know a lot more after this weekend as if
results dont go well for some teams they may start to focus on
any other fixtures/blooding a few for next season

I think we have to rest our England players for 1 game each. I’d
probably look to stagger that rather than all 4 at once.

Don't worry, I think we benefitted from our bye week coming the
week after the 6N, so our boys had their rest week then. We
should be able to go full bore for the remaining 4 league games
(and then hopefully beyond!) The 3 remaining European weeks also
give the players a break. We have 2 league games in April, 1 in
May and 1 in June.
