Wouldn’t that make sense to have it maybe ahead of the game on
the Friday night then, and as others have said more could make
it
Just seems to be a really odd time

Friday afternoon would have been the worst option surely.
1.People would still have to take time off work.
2.No players would be available for the event
3. The stewards and bar staff would have had too long a shift

Also - I'm not sure about this, but, I think . . .
4. Some schools are back, so some kids wouldn't be able to
attend

Might make sense to you, but maybe not the club with what they
want to be able to offer on the day. E.g. Access to players (men
and women) watch the training session prior to the Leinster game
Is this event that important to you?

Surrey and Sussex schools go back 01 September and independent
the following week. Only the Scottish schools go back in August
I think!

Nope , just thought it would have made more sense when more
could atta Ed, even if only an hour before game, and as others
have said some schools will be back so many season ticket
holders may well not be on holiday
It just seems odd to have on a wed afternoon

As someone who donated a lot of money during the lockdown, I
didn't expect anything in return.
The names on the tunnel wall was a nice touch, but we never got
the opportunity to see it in person, which they suggested months
ago might happen. (and think there was a line about this not
being a permanent fixture).
Hearing they were going to thank those of us fortunate enough to
donate was a nice thing.
But I'm not going to use up one of my holiday days to go to
this. So feel it's a bit of a shame. However, never expected
something in return other than Quins not going under, therefore
hard to be that upset about it.
I'd have settled for a panel in one of the bars with all our
names on.
