Some good ones there. Marler's not really a stat, if it was a
winger or a centre it would have more impact. He's only really
got, what, 3 for Quins?
Danny's is ridiculous but if he hadn't have, Ben 'continental
plate' Youngs wouldn't have the all time caps record.
And as for Hartley's, so sad that many good England players of
that era don't have Lions caps, thanks Gatland!!!

I do not expect my props to score tries, I want them to dominate
scrums, lift in the line out, make hard yards and win me
penalties.
They do a lot of the work for the tries that the hooker dots
down from the back of the maul.

Along similar lines, I saw Will Greenwood's tweet this morning
about his 40 word 6 Nations synopsis of each England player. If
anyone in the UK has a subscription, would you be naughty enough
to copy the article here so I and others can read it? Thank
you!

I think you can get a free account for the Telegraph which
allows you to read one article a week.

You forgot crunching tackles. Marler is one of the best
defenders in international rugby, especially when it comes to
flattening backs. I've even seen international wingers and fly
halves run down his channel, think better of it and scoot around
like age grade players looking for somewhere to run that doesn't
involve getting smashed.

Yes. ask either of the Robshaws about that. Dreadful that
neither received a Lions cap

And Mike.
But probably blame Lancaster for shoving him on the wing.
Even then he was significantly better than Maitland.
