Danny’s yellows

What is the risk of DC ending up with a ban if he picks up any
more yellow cards? I think he’s had 3 in pretty quick
succession, so I don’t know if this will be a concern during the
run in.

I heard that you can only get cited if you're picking up yellows
for foul play rather than technical offences. That might be a
load of nonsense though.

Indeed. Excerpts from: RFU REGULATION 19 – DISCIPLINE (APPENDIX
1) Yellow Cards
5. A Player who receives three yellow cards for Foul Play during
a season (at Levels 1 to 4 and in the Women’s Premier 15s (1st
and 2nd XVs)) (excluding cup competitions) will have their case
heard by an RFU Disciplinary Panel.
7. No disciplinary action will be taken in relation to yellow
cards awarded for technical offences. All yellow cards
(technical and Foul Play) shall be reported to the RFU, but only
those awarded for Foul Play will be recorded, attract an
administrative fee as set out in Appendix 3 and be included for
totting up purposes.

He is getting on a bit, maybe DC just needs a 10 minute break
these days

Would his yellow for the handbags in big game be foul play or
technical (because of warning issued)?

Handbags sounds like foul play.

I guess it depends how it's been recorded. It could still be a
concern I suppose.
An offence judged to be deliberate is covered under WR foul play
laws... but it's not in the Appendix 2 list on the RFU site for
foul play entry points.
