Tigers apparently fined 310k (well, 309,841.06) for breaking the
cap!!
From RIL -
2016/17 - £122,750
2017/18 - £64,718
2018/19 - £30,886
2019/20 - £73,586
so just the 4 years then!!

Frankly, while it is 4 years the amount of breach is small and
they will be fined I think 3 times the overrun. We are not
talking huge figures here and they are unlikely to have gained a
significant advantage. The rules are hugely complex and these
figures are likely accounting errors rather than systemic
cheating. The system recognizes these happen and there are
rules in place to handle this.
However we all know that one club was spending more than they
should on purpose and there need to be rules in place to handle
this going forward. As I think it is clear they did not get
adequate punishment for what they did, I would like to see them
open to loss of future earning for those denied a title and
hence the opportunities this gives to earn some money. I also
think that they should have to live with a smaller cap than
everyone else for 5 years where it can be shown they broke the
cap to gain significant advantage.

Indeed there are enormous differences between the last three and
the years of systematic cheating by the unrepentant Cheats.

What it doesn't say is if this was cynical by certain
individuals or just clumsy, glad we have removed pretty all the
people concerned from the club and can pay up and move on,
lesson learnt.

Didn't win them multiple trophies either, indeed a rather barren
run.

However, the BBC article suggests the Tigers' breaches were
systematic bypasses of the regulations, which were
"miraculously" consistently short of the amounts of overspend
which could lead to league points deductions. I am not sure if
these episodes were merely accounting errors, although much
smaller breaches than those of the infamous you-know-who.

Yeah - amazingly it was all conveniently below the level at
which it becomes more serious.
And all happening during the Sarries affair - and yet they
didn’t fess up.
But no points deduction. It’s almost like Tigers are a big part
of the rugby establishment whereas Saracens were seen as new the
money upstarts.
I’m sure that can’t be the case however……
