       🃏

       Email just received
The Club have announced that on Wednesday 30 March that a club
update meeting will be held for all Harlequins supporters to
hear about the progress of the Club as we come out of the last 2
year’s of COVID-19 restrictions, and look ahead to the future.
The event, titled ‘The State of Play’ will see an update from
CEO Laurie Dalrymple across all areas of the Club and a Q&A
session with our Head Coaches Tabai Matson and Gerard Mullen.
They will be joined on stage by our Club Captain’s Stephan
Lewies and Rachael Burford, alongside several of our key players
from both Men’s and Women’s teams.
The meeting will take place at 19.30 – 21.00 and will be
broadcast on-line for all supporters to dial into and listen,
with an opportunity to send questions to be answered live. A
recording of the event will be published afterwards for any
supporter to watch in their own time.
CEO Laurie Dalrymple explained “The Club has been on an
extraordinary journey over the last 2 years, battling through
the challenge of COVID-19, adapting all areas of our Club,
re-connecting with our DNA and ultimately becoming Double
English Champions. Through this time much has changed across the
Club and it is a timely moment to reflect, and to share our
       vision for the journey ahead”.
The Club will share a link ahead of the event with all
supporters wishing to dial in digitally.

It wouldn't surprise me if STH see significant increases for
       2022/23.

What a surprise it’s on line with pre vetted questions

I'm not sure what you mean by pre-vetted - "with an opportunity
to send questions to be answered live"
Pre-vetted would imply that you send questions ahead of time,
and some people with inoffensive are selected to ask their
       questions.
I would assume that there will always be a level of filtering
for on-line questions. You need to stop the keyboard warriors
from asking loaded questions and also prevent the "what is your
       favourite cheese?" question.
Is this what you mean by pre-vetted?

Agreed. For large public meetings such as this one then there's
a fundamental need for some form of control.

I’m assuming by the comment “ Will have the opportunity to send
questions” instead of saying “ Will have the opportunity to ask
questions” and with the event being only on line that the
questions will be asked in advance or either sent in via
comments, so they can choose what to answer, that there will be
some vetting , so yes that’s what I mean
I’m sure there are a good few questions that have been asked on
social media recently and not answered will again not be
answered, I hope I’m wrong and they do answer some of the ones
       that have been ignored

Questions in advance. Messages controlled. No one allowed to
attend to see ‘those on stage’. All a bit odd. - especially for
a club like Quins. What are they hiding or what message do they
       want to push out?
