Think we're a bit lightweight in the centres.

Pleased for Joe. But otherwise, its not as good of a side as it
could be.
How Ewels and Stuart in particular get picked is beyond me
though. Also fairly concerned that the backs in my view lack
physicality to match their Irish counterparts.
Hopefully we can get off to a quick start. Big games for Malins
and Simmonds in particular to start delivering. Also, you feel
Joe needs a solid game to help cement his place in the side

Ewels is at best England’s third choice bulky lock - behind a
fully fit Launchbury and Hill.
Kruis would’ve been up there as well for me. Shame he didn’t
fancy hanging on until after 2023.
Let’s hope Tizard’s partnership with Maro helps him quickly
leapfrog Ewels.

If we get ahead going into the last 20 then I think we'll win.
If we're chasing the scoreboard then Sexton will just ping us
back into the corner.
I would have started Marler against Furlong as Genge struggles
against good tightheads, Collier had him in his pocket up at
Welford Road.
Else with the squad he retained, can't see what else is miles
better than that starting XV. Wish he'd have hung onto Lynagh or
Radwan to have an out and out finisher but he seems intent on
Malins and Nowell. Wonder if we'll see Nowell and March switch
when we've got good field position?

He had covid, so I guess hasn't recovered.

And he couldn't train until at least yesterday, I believe.
