As I got to my seat on Friday evening I was approached by a
charming steward asking about my membership card. I thought
maybe there was an issue over who was sitting where but quickly
realised she had my wallet in her hand. After establishing my
ID she handed it over and told me a guy who sometimes works as a
steward over the road had found it, looked through and found my
membership card and passed my wallet to the steward nearest my
seat. She then noticed him walking away but there was no
possibility of reaching him to offer my very grateful thanks and
possibly buy him a pint.
However in the hope that perhaps you use our forum, a massive
thank you Sir and if you do read this please get in touch so
that I can at least thank you properly.

If it was a tall bald guy with glasses, that's Big Steve who
used to steward in the West Stand at the Stoop for a long time.
He no longer stewards at the Stoop but he's still doing it over
in the Big Stoop. I often see him in block L5 over there.

I think that the guy who found my wallet was average build with
a full head of hair. However very many thanks Fred.

Charles Stanley Stand, Block FF, Row D That's in line with the

(Working Stoop Friday night, also over the road on Sat, Punter
Bristol Sunday.....what a fab weekend!!!)
