haven't seen much of this guy but was really impressed when he
came on last night , might be getting a longer spell in the
starting line up with the ever growing injury list . strong last
15 mins from Wilco too , great to see

Thought Wilco's been pretty anonymous in his 2 (IIRC) brief sub
appearances so far, but he was back into beast mode last night,
esp with the ball in hand. A couple of short but very important
carries.

Agree, although I think we can underestimate at times how
players need to get up to speed after being out for a while.
Prime example for me is CSW. Some basically saying he was a
waste of a signing, but the blokes been away playing a totally
different sport, with different demands/skills for the past 3
years. Of course it will take time to get up to speed/condition
his body. He is involved for Scottish again this weekend which I
see as a good sign. I still say this will turn out a good
signing for us

I think our coaches have shown that they deserve our trust when
it comes to brining new players in to the first team mix. So
far, we haven’t seen any players come through and look out of
place.
Hammond and Tizard have come in to he team at a different rate,
but I think that’s purely because the latter was more physically
ready for senior rugby. Hammond just needed a bit more time to
fill out.
Similarly, Jurevicius was dual registered but now looks like
he’s ready to play in the Premiership.
Our coaches seem really good at judging when a player is ready
to go and I don’t see why that should be any different for
someone like CSW. Even if he is a lot more experienced, his
roundabout route back to rugby can’t be underestimated.

I also was impressed by Hammond but boy are we going to miss
Tizard seems to be developing a great all court game.
If Hammond can come through in the same vein then it will be
good.

Honkytonk, I couldn't find any reference to CSW turning out for
Lon Scot over the last weekend? Did he play?
