JB is a bit of a gobby so and so. Generally goes out looking for
a reaction more often than not, big rugby guy though!
Do agree with never sleep though. I think we could've gone for a
"this is what we're going to do about it."

Monash University is one of the top universities in the World.
On one rating it is number 40. There is no way they would
countenance doing poor quality research. Why JB and Stephen
Jones feel they have to trash the work, especially, as far as I
am aware, they have no academic credentials to critically
evaluate it, makes me think they are not comfortable with the
subject under study. Why is open to conjecture.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be open to conjecture.
I haven't listened to the podcast but have read Jones's tweet -
he offered no counter argument and it's not even clear that he
read the research, which doesn't come as a surprise.
