3 games 3 stodgy disjointed sloppy performances.
We are going nowhere. There are 9 games more this year.I estimate
we will lose 7-Ireland France Australia x3 NZealand and SA.
All of those teams are markedly better.
Jones is the most overpaid coach in the world with no idea what
to do that will work.

I just find Eddie bizarre now. Anybody could've seen that Slade
out of position at 12 and Daly who had no real form to speak of
in any position, let alone at 13 was hardly going to set the
world on fire. It was obvious more of a pace threat was required
on the wing too. One of Malins and Nowell with a speedser I
could understand. Both of them - just that bit too slow. Steward
for all his good points is probably not really quicker than
Brown was!
The line out was rubbish on the whole. I thought that was Ewels
USP? I've said it before but I'm sure you could pick any of 5
premiership second rows instead of him and you wouldn't notice
any drop off in performance. I don't get Stuart either.

Malins has pace, he's the quickest of the three fairly
comfortably.

I’d prefer Heyes to Stuart. I don’t really get the vibe he’s a
player to make any impact as a sub.
Ewels needs to be moved on. I don’t get what he really brings to
the team and he’s fairly absent in most games.
For the WC I’d like to see Lawes and Itoje as our locks, which
will allow Curry to go to his best position which is 6, and
Willis at 7. In fact I’d probably take a punt and call him up to
the team now!

Not disputing that but he’s not as quick as May, Radwan or
Watson. Obviously 2 of those 3 are injured but the back 3 lacks
an out and out pace option that it usually would have. Then
again, unless the centres produce some ball for them that’s
pretty moot.

Right, just saying he's not the problem. Nowell is. Steward is
quick enough for his role and does so much good work.

Would people say Lynagh is faster that Nowell and Malins?

Marcus did manage to slide himself through the Welsh D line a
few times. Genge was on his shoulder on one of those occasions,
and received the offload. But, apart from Marcus hitting our
forwards flat so they could try to muscle through, I didn't see
other players working alongside Marcus too much to unravel the
Welsh defence. Marcus was getting the ball quite a bit, but the
back three and centres were not IMO working together as an
attacking unit. The backs came out of the game looking pretty
poor I thought. This could be, as others have said, because our
current backs are in fact quite poor. Maybe Randall and Marcus
could in time develop an understanding around their attacking
intentions? Or is it mostly going to be Marcus and the
Forwards?...which is a half decent name for a band, but not a
strategy for top level rugby.

Faster than Nowell. Very difficult to judge if he's quicker than
Malins.
