O/T England v Wales

Am probably last person to know but can’t see anywhere on board.
Eddie has given us Northmore back but included in squad today is
Louis Lynagh along with Joe x2, Marcus and Dommers. I hope
Louis at least makes the bench for Wales this time.

I suspect Louis will be back with us again for Friday and is
only in the squad for experience. I imagine with Nowell and
Malins available EJ will start with them, and he would prefer
multi position covering on the bench, so I imagine Marchant will
fight it out with Daly as I'm almost certain we will see Manu
and Henry Slade as the midfield. I imagine Radwan is ahead of
Louis in the pecking order, but only slightly.

My guess is that Louis's chance will come if one of Malins or
Steward loses form or gets injured. His value is that he covers
wing and fullback whereas Radwan is an out and out winger.

I think for that to enter EJ's thinking Louis would need to
demonstrate he can play that position sufficiently, which hes
not yet really done as he's only really featured on the wing, so
as an international utility i think he will have some way to go
yet.
His best chance will be an injury to either starting winger,
where he can then be thrust in to start on the wing outright
which I imagine will be a toss up between him or Radwan. Knowing
EJ, because neither are starting for their clubs at the moment
we will probably see Manu back on the wing!

Jack might not be available as he failed an HIA and there is
supposed to be a three week ban on playing after that. What
Eddie will do is anybodys guess but it won’t be what any of us
think would be sensible.

I thought at Pro level we had individualised concussion
protocols - i.e. individuals can return to play when they’re
symptom-free and their medics have signed them off?

You’re probably right poorfour, I’m used to the amateur
protocols ruling out playing at all and then returning after a
medical assessment.
