       Next 2 Games

A great win yesterday in some style with much-needed back-rowers
returning from injury and some confidence attacking with ball in
hand. I think the next 2 rounds of matches against 2 of the
bottom 3 teams could be crucial to our Top 4 ambitions.
Worcester away and Newcastle at home should both be winnable
(although the former always seems to be a banana skin for us).
Other Top 6 contenders are playing each other too in the next 2
weeks (Sale v Irish, Tigers v Glos, Sarries v Tigers etc.) so
there's a real opportunity to create a gap from the chasing
       teams.

Yep. To be fair, I never expect to win at Sixways. We just don’t
like playing in Worcester for some reason and while I’m not a
fan of his, Steve Diamond seems to be making an immediate
       impact there.
If we can come out of Friday’s game with a win, I’ll be very
       happy.
We tend to be better when Falcons are in town so hopefully
       that’s business as usual.
The sub plot is what happens in the other fixtures. As you say,
our rivals taking points off each other could do us a favour -
particularly if we can pick up 8-10 points of our own.

Fully agree, I consider the next two to be must win, if we want
to push as hard as possible in the champions cup then we will
need a cussion in the league, the cussion we had went with the 3
game losing streak so they are must win games if we are to keep
       going in both competitions.

We've got w very tricky run in. So I'd say we really need to win
the next two to get top 4. At least we have our destiny in our
       own hands.

And we seem to be giving away home advantage for the Glaws game
at what could be a crucial time of the season

If the Big Game is anything to go by, I’m not sure we’re giving
up an advantage. Twickenham might not be the Stoop but our
record there is generally good and we seem to like playing in
       front of big crowds.
As tough as our run in may be, I think we need to remember that
we’ve been under strength for pretty much the whole season
(significantly so at some points) whether that’s test absentees
       or injuries.
It was great to see some of our frontline players coming back
yesterday and when we can add our England players and hopefully
WEv for the run-in, I’m confident we’ll be there or thereabouts.

You can chuck Bristol into that run to… they are better than the
table shows but having seen what Irish have done there recently,
we should hold no fear, especially if we lose no more players to
       injury.
I was happy Wuss won on Friday… just dents their desperation for
a result next week slightly. And will be without their Scottish
players. If we can have a team out similar to yesterday, then we
should have enough. Newcastle will be tough, but in a fallow
week with no 6Ns so Marler should be free again which as we saw
       yesterday is massive.
The run in is hard for sure, but we also said that about the
Xmas run and we managed to pick up wins in all game.

Wuss always run is close at their place seemingly with or
without our stars. LBP I think the best we can hope for.
Falcons at home I’d like to think we have enough but I’d prefer
it if Radwan was called up for England by then!

I would add Bristol away to this and consider it a block of
three games where the England guys are away (we're on bye for
the last round in March). These games are very important for us
as we look to the sharp end of the season.
After Bristol on 13th March we don't play again in the Prem
until 3rd April against Irish, with all our 6N players back. I'm
sure the coaches will be seeing it that way too. We can probably
play quite a callow side in the premiership cup and ensure the
guys returning from injury or England are raring to go for
Europe and the run-in. Ideally, you'd want the likes of Louw,
Smith, Dombrandt all fit and playing. We might even get Wev back
       by then.
12 points is a minimum, I'd say, to take us to 60 points with
five games remaining. 14-15 would really put us in the driving
seat. Anything less than 10 means we're going to get caught
unless we run the table in the last five league games. 72 points
was a comfortable fourth last year. Given how crowded things
are, I reckon between 72-75 will get it done given how crowded
mid-table is now. That would leave us needing to win 3/5. Drop a
couple of the next three games, and we have to run the table.
Very important we get these games right and if we can, put them
       to the sword.

Why is a LBP ‘the best we can hope for’? Surely 5 points is the
best we can hope for and a LBP should be our minimum
       expectation.
