Damn, we’re actually going to be in Twickenham this time.
Usual plan of not leaving the house, and hoping no one vomits or
craps in the front garden then.
What a great event.

I'm planning on drinking all day down The Barmy Arms and pushing
3 or 4 portaloos into the river.

Army and Navy (and Air Force) might be a bit busy if Boris keeps
teasing Vladers

day out in Twickenham to meet up with past and present oppos to
unwind for one flipping day because they may water your garden
or push a bin in the ogin (not). What a sad state of affairs
when we (you) can’t just except that we ALL need to unwind, out
of uniform, and have a laugh. I’ve seen demobbed at Twickenham
in wheelchairs with no legs with smiles because they’re with
their mates. Think on.

You’re 100% right, antisocial behaviour is exactly the way we
should commemorate the fallen. Think on.

What edit? I’m not sure if this is how you normally engage with
people ion here but I’ll carry on engaging with you out of
politeness:
The army navy match is very well known for the abysmal
behaviour. That’s why crowd sizes have been systematically cut,
early fixtures dropped, and licensing hours changed over the
years to control it.
The last time is was held a woman got taken to hospital after a
“fan” threw a bottle that hit her in the head.
It’s not me that needs to ease off the Stellas.
Perhaps NHS workers should ge the same amnesty, once a year they
get to trash a town to thank them for their service.

This is sad, as a serving soldier of 25 years and Harlequins
fan/ST holder. I refuse to go to Army v Navy because I don’t
want to be associated with the idiots who behave appallingly.
The issue for both sides is they can only deal with those who
are currently serving not veterans or all the civilians who go.
It is especially sad as a good friend is the current Army team
captain.
It used to be a good day but sadly no more. The game at
Kingsholm vs RAF is far better without all the idiots.
The behaviour of the few does not celebrate our service or
contribution to national security it is a disgrace and caused a
community to resent the event.
I’ll continue to take my seat at The Stoop and celebrate our
fallen on 11 Nov.

Oh I see you don’t actually want a discussion.
Ok well we won’t chat again.
For clarity - see the post above - the behaviour at the game by
those who indulge in it is, in my view, an embarrassment to our
armed forces. If it happens again this year I’m pretty sure the
council will ban the match from Twickenham.

"Think on" always reminds me of Lynn's church friend confronting
Alan Partridge. Very funny.
