Premiership Rugby Launch PRTV

Main points are:
PRTV Live will give supporters the chance to watch all Gallagher
Premiership Rugby matches not being broadcast on BT Sport or
ITV, from Round 18 on Friday 25 February.
PREMIERSHIP Rugby is launching a new streaming service, PRTV
Live, which means fans will be able to watch every Gallagher
Premiership Rugby match live this season
- A Match Pass is £4.99 to watch the game of your choice.
- A Round Pass is £6.99 to watch all fixtures included for a
round of Gallagher Premiership Rugby
- You can register and purchase matches from 11am on Monday 21
February
Starting this month as a pilot service, PRTV Live is streamed
directly to fans via the Premiership Rugby mobile app and
provides supporters with a comprehensive service. PRTV Live will
show the games that are not broadcast by BT Sport or ITV, so
fans will now have access to up to 480 minutes – eight hours –
of pure rugby action over a weekend.

One thing that isn't clear as yet is whether it will support
being Airplayed or Chromecast from a phone onto a TV. I'll see
if the existing video options in the app can be 'cast when I get
home.
Scratch that! I just found their original tweet, and the app
WILL support Airplay & Chromecast. It won't be on laptops for
the first month, but they plan to have that after that date.
They will also do a Season pass from next season.

It might do this if can you stream for a day or so after the
game has finished, I rarely get to see a match live on TV these
days.

Full games are already available on the Premiership site,
typically 24hrs after the end of the round: Link to Quins Games

The app coverage is for games not being shown on BT or ITV. I
would guess that it will be bare bones coverage as well.
Starting a couple of minutes before K/O, no on-camera
hosts/interviews/previews/etc. Analysis will probably be minimal
during the game too, just a single commentator, no playbacks of
action unless it's i) called for by the TMO or ii) a scoring
opportunity taken/missed.

We're lucky and get most of our games shown so as FF says, we'd
keep it but fans at teams like Wuss may well bin BT as they
hardly get a look in on there
