That is wonderful news and a credit (again) to Laurie and Billy
for changing it up. Fantastic to have the triumvirate will be
leading the team going forward long term
Great that Adam Jones is moving his family too, must have taken
him 7 years to afford a house in Guildford ;)

It's not that long ago that Charlie was being described as
"stoned" and Harley as "the horse-dog". Clearly Emily has been a
positive influence on them.

THE CLUB IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THREE SENIOR PERFORMANCE
PROGRAMME LEADS HAVE SIGNED NEW PERMANENT DEALS WITH THE CLUB
The Club is thrilled to confirm that Head of Academy Chim Gale,
Head of Medical Services Mike Lancaster and Head of Athletic
Performance Gareth Tong have all signed new and permanent
contracts.
Head of Academy Chim Gale has overseen the progress and growth
of the Club’s pathway since joining from Worcester Warriors in
2019. The Club has seen a number of Academy players progress to
become regular first-team starters over the last three seasons,
with Louis Lynagh, Jack Kenningham and Sam Riley just a few
examples of the Club’s most recent home-grown stars. Chim and
his team have also significantly expanded the pathway system at
all levels, including our formal relationship with Gordon’s
School.
Head of Medical Services Mike Lancaster joined Quins from
Australian AFL side the GWS Giants in 2019 and has overseen what
is now one of the most impressive medical departments in the
league, introducing next-generation medical tools such as the
revolutionary Protecht mouthguard technology, which has helped
Quins to become a pioneering club within the player welfare
space.
Gareth Tong who joined Harlequins over a decade ago, extends his
time at the Club as Head of Athletic Performance. Overseeing
physical preparation for the Club’s Senior Men’s programme, Tong
leads the team that helped to prepare the side for a
lung-busting playoff period during the team’s 2020/21 season
title run.
Commenting, Director of Rugby Performance Billy Millard said:
“We are delighted that Gareth, Chim and Mike have re-signed with
Quins. They have played critical roles in the Club’s recent
success and will continue to drive and deliver world-class
performance and pathway systems. These three guys also live our
values and help create a professional and enjoyable space for
our players and staff."

Really good that there seems to be a willingness to commit from
both sides. I am really glad that the whole camp seems like a
positive environment.
