A reminder that we didn't drop Adidas, they dropped us.
January 2021 Adidas chose not to renew with Quins because we
were awful.
Quins went off and did a deal with Castore.
Quins then became miracle workers and Adidas came back cap
(baseball or otherwise) in hand.
Quins said no and agreed to honour the new contract.

If true that’s probably why we got those bl—-y awful shirts for
Europe and Big Game - vengeance!

It is true - was told by someone inside the club.
And you’re right - never linked the two but maybe!
There’s no reason you’d make those kits other than self loathing
or revenge.

More likely that Adidas got their best designer to work on it as
a last ditch hope to retain the business.
