the back row in the hope it comes off.

Not sure what the benefit of signing someone like De Carpientier
is over using someone like Matas Jurevicius is. Matas has been
getting game time and scored a nice try for London Scottish. I
don't think that you could replace Kenners/Wev with someone who
was any higher than a championship player anyway (i.e. someone
like Matas).

Maybe he is carrying a niggle but available to play if he had
to? Louw is back and needs minutes and Kerrod fully fit then if
Collier not 100% they probably thought it's not worth the risk

As last week, we will likely struggle at scrum time - backs
look good again but that didn't save us against Sale :-(

Can anyone illuminate me on what we signed Christian
Scotland-Williamson for? He's nowhere to be seen...

I believe it was to play rugby. Hope that helps!

You do wonder why its taking so long to get him up to speed. If
he was that secret weapon we thought he could be, we probably
would have seen him by now. If he's still not ready, then you
really have to question our decision to sign him.

Give him a break. Guy's been playing another sport for several
years, it's going to take a while for him to relearn rugby.
Or we could just shove him in the game and see how many mistakes
he makes?
Quins have been pretty good at knowing when to introduce a new
player over the last couple of years. We've not had many who've
looked like they need more time to get ready. The club clearly
sees him as a long term prospect but one who will need a bit of
work before he's effective.

Spoke with Will last weekend and he hoped to be back this week,
it is a neck problem from the collapsed scrums the week before;
my thoughts are that he is not 100% yet and Wilco is back to
cover.
CSW keeps telling me he is itching to get involved on the pitch,
don't forget soon after arriving at Quins he had a 'minor op', I
don't know any details, which would have delayed his full
involvement in training even. As others have said, give him a
break, he will be involved soon.

Not sure about starting White over Taulani.
Lewies and Louw on the bench are a welcome sight.
