Not going to happen anytime soon, Premiership rugby have a 5
year partnership with ticket master, all clubs will be using
their technology if not already on it.

To be fair though, we are only using ticketmaster
technology/system it is still our ticket office.
We could have the same issues if we used another system.
Although recent ticketing issues (6nations ballot, booking fee
for this game) are probably caused by ticketmaster not
configuring the match correctly and not testing fully before
releasing to us punters.

But is that not exactly what you are trying to avoid by
outsourcing?

Just booked my tickets, however did ring the ticket office to
seek help. In my opinion someone has decided that more money can
be made by charging extra for 'premium seats', and that has
brought a level of confusion to the ticket master web site. This
has never happened on any Big game to date
Ive ended up with seats in a worse position than my current
season ticket seat as i refused to pay the premium. I asked the
ticket office why this premium is being charged and they didnt
know, although they said this will not be the case for the next
big game. (i hope)

But the problem could exist if outsourced or not, someone still
needs to do additional set up on these additional matches.
Let's face it the club are not going to back to employing an
army of ticketing staff sitting there waiting to take our calls.
Unfortunately it has moved to a more online self service
solution, most of the time it works fine but unfortunately when
there is an issue it often seems difficult to get to a quick
resolution.

Well all I can say is that dealing with large groups is a
nightmare on Ticketmaster. Especially if you have a mixture of
Premier, Club, Child and Guest. Had to ring the club everytime
since Ticketmaster were introduced, tbh.

Assuming that you dont have a Premium seat at The Stoop I'm a
little puzzled by this?

Not sure why you are puzzled
The ticket choice for twickenham is offering worse seat
selections than my club season ticket
For the first time quins are charging to upgrade whilst in the
past have offered any seat selection.
As I generally get 4 additional tickets for these games the club
has lost revenue as we are now all sitting in the cheaper seats.
I appreciate we are in a commercial world, however feel it’s a
bit harsh after supporting the club financially during COVID

So you want to have the same seat as a Premier STH but for a
lower price? I upgraded 1 adult for £18 and 1 child for £10
which seems pretty reasonable in this day and age tbh.
