'I didn't have to be so pushy at Harlequins'
A year on he seems to finally be accepting he was a bit of a
**** to some players and staff....
....that he's still giving interviews on this after a year
perhaps suggests he hasn't 'moved on' to the extent he'd
previously claimed!

Although the 4am platitudes no doubt didn't impress anyone, I
think what really did for him is hidden in this sentence:
"We had tough decisions to make on players coming to the ends of
their careers, when you have to speak to the board and the rest
of your support staff and coaches."
I.E. The way he went about booting out Brown, exactly as we all
suspected...

Surely that breeches some employment law of messaging your staff
it unsocial hours!

Only if they're expected to instantly read & respond to a
message. What he was doing was more like a "motivational
message" that players/coaches/staff would find when they chose
to look at their phone in the morning.

It seems akin to Eddie's approach of wanting his coaches to work
on reports overnight so he could have them before he woke up.
Just because you survive on a few hours sleep or are a morning
person doesn't mean your team is.
