Cats out the bag. I’m hosting a BBQ at the Stoop.
There won’t be any dessert though, I did ask Luke Wallace for
his apple turnovers but he said he’s not managed any of them for
years

I’ll be pretty irritated if we lose another home game to be
played at twickenham instead of the Stoop. Big game is fine, but
two in one season is overkill

Obviously rather play at The Stoop but I can see the club’s
thinking. The revenue generation potential is substantial and
helps ‘grow’ the game. May also has the added benefit of a
longer evenings and a greater chance of nice weather.

And more importantly helps the clubs' finances too once we get
over the 50k break-even point...

Exactly.
The reality is that club rugby needs to have events like this to
generate the revenue to support having a competitive team on the
field. We were close to break even at the middle point of the
last decade but then something happened that saw an additional
marquee player and a raised cap. The owners have generously
closed that gap over the last few years but the club needs to be
as self sufficient as possible.

Since they desperately need the cash then it’s all fine by me.
As long as they never ever bring back the abysmal double header
- the worst experience in rugby, barring that Saracens at
Wembley rubbish.

Me too.
Here's my reasoning:
- My perception is that we seem to win more often at the Stoop
than at HQ
- Winning games puts us in a better position to win the
Premiership
- Winning the Premiership should mean more sell out games the
following season

That comeback against Wasps was pretty enjoyable but I know what
you mean. Plus you got robbed by ticketmaster if you wanted to
go.
