It’s a genuine reality we won’t win now until our stars are
back. Nothing over the last few weeks has convinced me we are
capable of executing a game plan, or even putting much effort
in.

The pack have been under pressure, but it’s been better than I
feared.
It’s the handling errors in open play that have been our
problem.
We are losing, as expected, but the reasons are not what I was
expecting.

Initially, I thought it was the pack under pressure causing the
pressure elsewhere. Prob unfair. I did worry before the game
that we would try and force it (hence th errors). Just need to
calm down, re group and look after the ball, rest will take care
if itself.

If we can get an early score next half, and then maybe a
penalty, we might be lucky and get a losing bonus point. That
realistically was always the best case scenario

It's like setting the clock back to when we had Brown, Care,
Marler & Robshaw missing during the Six Nations. Like then, I
believe we do not have enough strength in depth. We play Sarries
next week who will only be missing 2-3 players, but they have so
much strength in depth. Likewise Exeter have strong
replacements. I hope Quins prove me wrong today, but they have a
real mountain to climb.

Dont think its that simple. Collier, Botta, Lamb, Lewies,
Chisholm, Lawday, David, Steele would all be involved if fit.
