That has been Sale’s game plan for most of this season 😢

What is your vendetta against Allan?

I’ve just not been impressed by his overall impact. He’s a
fairly steady eddy type and that’s no bad thing, but not overly
someone who might be a match winner. I feel Edwards gets the
better out the backs personally

With junior pack playing you cannot blame Tommie.

Allan was playing well generally until he was taken out in the
Sarries game. He's been playing behind below par forward packs
since his return from injury. Edwards played well against Saints
but the forwards were on top that day.

against anyone. As for the other half, there are reasons to be
optimistic. Taulani is a big boy and has looked pretty
impressive. Els has been around for a while and has shown
quality, when he is fit. White and Wallace have it in them to be
great, indeed White was excellent at home to Sale last year.

I do like your relentless optimism on here but I do sometimes
wonder what it would take for you to be worried!
I think it's very reasonable that people don't expect Wallace to
be great given he's nowhere near the player he was in his early
days for us, and that while White may well have had a couple of
decent outings at 6, he's not an 8 and there's a reason why he's
been behind everyone else this season. On paper there's a gulf
in class between the sides where it really matters.
Happily it's not played on paper, but...

My crystal ball today predicts Quirke running the show, with
headlines after about being sending EJ a message. 🔮

I think we will hold our own in the scrum, but struggle up front
in general. When we do get the ball to the backs we will see
some decent play but Im worried they will force it due to
getting little ball. I would have started Hammond/Juruvicius to
add some bulk to the pack. Weather may help us as conditions
can make it a bit of a lottery. Would be great to see the back
row step up. Hoping that the fact they are starting together
(and knew they were) rather than White (and Kerrod) coming on
early which disrupted us.
