It might depend on how the dreaded training has gone. Last week
Matson said something like training had been one of the best
ever. Let's hope this week it has been utter garbage.

Personally I’d have Marchant over Northmore in a “full strength”
XV

Is this a sick joke or does anyone know if true? Just hope we
have some back as well.

Not sure why it would be a "sick joke".

Jones is getting stronger but having Northmore back is really
good news. I also wonder if Lynagh will come in to unite with
Green (harsh on David, I know). Lynagh and Green are excellent
together but David played well and should stay in the XV.
Our back line is very good, Allan was providing some good ball
on Friday and hopefully will have even more opportunity to do so
on Sunday. Maybe Edwards might get on the bench? If he does,
that would give us an exciting running option at 10 for the
second half.
However, I suspect the bench for the backs will be Gjaltema,
Jones and Lynagh, with Northmore coming in for Jones and David
retaining his spot on the wing.

Picking the forwards is a bit more difficult!
Santiago, Walker, Kerrod might well start. Hopefully, Collier is
well enough to make the bench, at least.
Tizard and Symons should continue in the second row. Again,
hopefully Lamb and/or Lewies will at least make the bench.
The back row is our real worry. We have White and Taulani
definitely fit. I think! We are waiting on Chis, Lawday and Lamb
(as a very good 6 option). Is Wallace out? I have a suspicion
that he is but I may be wrong. I didn't see him go off on
Friday. Perhaps Trenholm will get his chance? I hope so. All of
our Academy boys are impressive and have shown up well in their
cameos.
Our front 5 are a good match for Sale. A back row of Taulani,
White and Trenholm feels a little undercooked but they are all
able to mix it up. We shall see. Looking forward to it, in any
case.

From the photos on Twitter this morning, it looks like Wallace
is ready to go! That is good news. We will need his experience
and skill at the breakdown.
I hope Evans is on the way back before too long. And Lawday and
Chis too, of course. That is a great back row that needs a quick
squeeze of the magic sponge!!!

From admittedly a seat without a great view, for me Wallace was
very disappointing at Bath (ditto White), seemed to have little
or no effect at the breakdown. Really need him to put his body
on the line on Sunday or we could get swept away.

I agree - but quite often we have Northmore as our 1st choice 13
and Marchant on the wing. In my opinion, we have better wingers
than Marchant though.
I would take Smith over Tommy - but, generally, from 9 to 15 and
the bench, we are pretty strong.

Well, if you want spoilers before the team's announced at
midday, the page on the Offy is LIVE
HTML https://www.quins.co.uk/news/everything-you-need-to-know-harlequins-v-sale-sharks/.<br
/>There's an error on it, saying kickoff is 3pm rather than 1pm.
It's also a "work in progress template" in that when you scroll
down to the Head to Head section, you can see they've written up
a number of different H2Hs in the midfield, including at least
one that seems completely at odds with the graphic showing the
announced Quins team further up the page...

Also mentions a head to head of Huw Jones v Manu Tuilagi. But
Jones doesn't appear anywhere in the team graphic.
