I did - was lucky enough to be at that game. Loved it.
But I've already heard Eddie at the junkets talking about how
the Six Nations is "different". I'm less worried about what
Eddie has coached Marcus to do and more worried about the sweet
nothings he's been whispering in Ben Youngs' ear. "Protect him,
manage the game for him, you're the experienced wise old owl."
We all know Youngs will only interpret that one way - in the
cauldron of Murrayfield, I can see the 'revert to type' reflex
kick in and soon enough Youngs is hoofing possession back to the
opposition off the back of a ruck on the halfway line 9 times
out of 10. If Marcus doesn't get the ball in his hands enough,
there's not too much he can do.
That said, I would love to see England kick on from that SA
game. The intensity was there and the desire to have a go was
there - it wasn't 100% pretty because England haven't been used
to playing like that for a long old time. When they get used to
it, I don't think we'll look back.

I thought that was more that he directly questioned EJ about it
rather than didn't do it.

No Farrell, but Slade now receiving at ten in the Farrell role,
with Smith behind and between Slade and Daly. Not keen...
