Mike Brown

Watching the Newcastle game I found myself thinking that Mike
looked frustrated, this seemed to mean he is over playing. He
made a gap at one stage to put the winger away who then ran at
him instead of staying wide. He looks a little forlorn at the
moment in my opinion. Did anyone else notice this?

I thought the same, I would like to know what He would have been
thinking, He looked annoyed to say the least.
The post match dressing room chat would have been interesting?

I seem to recall Mike looking annoyed in about three hundred-odd
games us. In fact I tended to worry when he didn't look annoyed.

Safe to say its not going too well for MB and Baldwin for last
years departures. Has Earle been injured? In any case he is
another player on reflection we haven't missed in the slightest.
Can't think of any other ex Quins wingers making the news
though

...and yet, there was a minor further insight into one of
them...namely, Mr Marmite himself, Mr Cashton! One again, I
raise the fascinating question of why he tends to have either
friends or enemies.
Did anyone see the BT Sport "IMO" video by Willi Heinz at
Worcester? These brief IMO videos are comical reflections by
selected players on those in their team squad who are the
biggest gluttons, the team pranksters etc. When asked who is the
worst moaner at Worcester, guess who was described as "moaning
about everything"?

I'd have taken brown over green over the last month or so. But
yes, I agree in general

I'd take Christy Brown over Green currently.

I don't know why the Green criticism is only coming now. It's
been clear ever since he arrived that his high ball skills are
appalling to poor at best. He has so many incredible qualities,
but he's a constant worry at the back and I just feel teams have
started to properly target him with pressure bombs + chase in
recent weeks. Why they didn't before I have no idea, but you can
be sure every team will be looking to exploit that in future.
Nick David looked much more assured at the back in his game at
FB against Castres - I'd be inclined to give him a run there and
maybe switch Green to wing while Lynagh is away with England.
When Lynagh comes back, I'd like to see what he could do from 15
too.

He's been excellent under the high ball before now though.
Particularly last season.
A bigger problem is his really quite poor kicking game and he'll
keep running into brick walls as a result.
