We may not have been at our champagne best, but describing
Gloucester, Exeter and Castres performances/victories as bad is
       a real stretch.
First half today hasn't been great, granted.

Nick David has been our best back, not sure what Archie White
does on a pitch, we need back row cover Taulani looks a little
       lost.

Considering the players missing up front, we are giving it a go.
Should have had a pen try for the scrum early on.
No doubt we need some walking wounded back but until then we got
to keep it going and hang in there (which we are).
If we come away with a WBP, cant do much more than that.

If Quins can just tighten things up a little - more careful with
the ball, mostly - this Bath defence is very weak on the
turnover and from quick ball in midfield.
Team looks a bit disjointed, but that’s to be expected with so
many changes. More worrying is seeing Lamb and Collier go off.
Kerrod is an able backup but with Louw out that’s a worrying
injury, and the fact that Lamb was in the back row at all is a
sign of how depleted the back row stocks are.
By the way, I thought jumping into the tackle was a penalty
       offence…

Well hope we get some back before Sale or will be mullered.

Taulani looks like a guy who’s been asked to do a much bigger
job than he was expecting. When he gets a couple of steps he’s
been decent, but he’s been too static - and if Dombrandt had
made that last break, it would have been offloaded to Care and
we’d have scored a few seconds earlier.

Taulani is more of a 6 and is probably our fourth choice to
start at no. 8, behind Dombrandt, Chis Jr and Lawday, so not
surprised that he's struggling a bit. Hugely impressed with
David so far, and once again a real mixed bag from Green. Think
we'll miss Dino as well as he's added some grunt to our pack -
White is a big step down, unfortunately.

Aside from ‘that try’ David has been excellent

Not sure why Taulani is getting so much stick. Wallace and
       White are completely anonymous.

I'm sure Taulani would look better if the whole team was playing
better, but when they're playing most of the game like they
couldn't care then it's tough for any individual to look good.
Note: I'm sure they all care very deeply; it just looks like
they don't. I'm expecting to see a far better attitude from
       Quins in the second half.
