Tend to agree with this. I wasn't persuaded we needed injury
cover before the game, but it's pretty clear now that we need an
8. Unless Lawday or Chisholm are back soon, it's going to be a
worry.
If we had Evans back tonight he'd have been pinged into
anonymity. Not a game for a jackler.

Only watched in patches due to poor internet. Saw some weak
defence, poor handling, poor refereeing, another wobbly outing
from green and general sloppiness

Nah, Evans is just too good at getting there and getting on the
ball before everyone else. Wallace is not that good.

Agreed. We’ve been riding our luck and a defeat was coming.
I think it’s fair to say Collier and Lamb’s early withdrawals
hurt us. Both have been key this season and when they departed
our early dominance up front went with them.
Attitude is a big thing though … even when our England players
have been around, we seem to have been lacking leadership so
Lewies can’t come back soon enough.
Green needs a bit of a rocket I think. He’s had many great
moments in the quarters but that doesn’t excuse a really awful
run of games.
Other than that, I really can’t stand the weird and smug
satisfaction from some posters when we lose. You can only be a
supporter if you ‘support’ the team …
Onwards and upwards … Sale don’t usually travel that well when
they come to the Stoop. Hopefully that remains the case next
week …

Losing can often be good as might be a wake up call to the
team….Hopefully we can get a few forwards back to full fitness
this would help

This performance shouldn’t really be a surprise. We can blame
the ref all we want, but let’s face it, we’ve played poorly for
a fair few games now. The difference being, is we were bailed
out by our quality players. Now we don’t have them, we just have
a poorly performing squad who were present for a lot of those
poor performances.
Bath had many more players than us out too.
If we are not to be embarrassed during the 6 nations, and undo
all of our work -
- Drop Green
- Take Kenningham to Lordes
- Bring in a proper back row as a medical joker.
- sit down with Taulani and show him videos of what’s expected
of a number 8

Good noise from our travelling army. We deserved something, just
for us!
Anyway, early dominance should have resulted in 3 tries. It was
a shame we kept butchering golden opportunities. For me, this is
where we are short at the moment. How do we instil that killer
instinct again?
Bath were dogged. We couldn't get going and the injuries set us
back from the dominance that we had. We only really seemed to
create some momentum 2 or 3 times after the first 20 minutes.
The relationships need to click over the next few weeks.
Congratulations to Bath.
Foley? Sigh.

Oh, and from the sounds of things, Goode was his usual classy
self. Just mute the guy! Surely that's a red button option or
something?!!!
