you seem to get a lot more of on Friday nights. SiB you seem to
think this was about the lights and fireworks which it wasn't.
I don't think you meant that we just have to accept drunk,
abusive language, having your view constantly blocked during
play and having to walk past lines of males urinating in open
view, but if you did then apart from watching quins, I don't
think we have a lot in common.

Nope what I meant was that with all the changes and the party
type atmosphere, you have to put up with everything else that
comes with it. Or decide not to go, because it’s not going to
change, the club are obviously making good money while so many
buy tickets, so really can’t envisage change
It’s a night out and not just to go and watch rugby event now

Friday night games have been the same for years and years -
maybe people are just getting even older and grumpier.

The "behaviour" on Friday night has always been that way for me.
The atmosphere is always a bit more charged up and a bit more
edgier on a Friday night, with certain types of punters coming
along which you wouldnt normally see on a Saturday, and then
also the "bhaviour" that comes with that. Ive never really liked
Friday nights too much for that reason but like I say, to me its
been that way for a very very long time.
As some have already said though, its a very busy night, and
with the TV rights its clearly very profitable, so the only
thing I can see that has changed is that the club have tapped in
to and harnessed that and made a much bigger spectacle out of
it.
Just have to tap in to it ourselsves and take the positives. IF
you cant beat them, join them. No point spoiling your own
evenings because other people are enjoing themselves

there head,I never got to see a try because of people forever
standing up it’s turning more in to a football mentality which
ruins it for the true Quins fans.

Boat races - as practised in almost every rugby club on a
Saturday after a game - or at uni during rag week or any day
ending in "Y": it's not a football thing.
Pain for you for it to be happening in front of you while trying
to watch the game, but not the end of the world - that's Vlad's
mission...

All that power. Producing it isn't very green. And the batteries
- at the end of their life they're not exactly environmentally
friendly.
Can't you cycle?

Well thank you for that I am mid 70s and live in Surrey Hills
……😁 I don’t go to Stoop to see gas burners polluting rhe
atmosphere. You are clearly trying to promote ageism.

Don’t listen to him Monte, at least you’re making an effort and
I’m sure you can use a provider of renewable energy if you’re
not already. There are plans to use the old batteries from cars
to power houses by using solar energy. Much like Tesler do.
Before you ask I walk to the stoop because I can.

in a cycle rickshaw

You’d think that Quinky, having teased Monte for her stance,
would at least offer to pick her up on March days in his
rickshaw…

I'd offer a ride in the car, but even the pleasure of seeing an
eco warrior fuming at the thought of being in a large engined
gas guzzler couldn't tempt me.
