Bath away on Friday

Bath have signed Nathan Hughes’s on loan could be available on
Friday. Could be a problem for us if he is in a mood to show
what he can do. Hope we have some back row forwards back from
injury.

Hughes was supposed to be on loan to Hartpury until Bath stepped
in. Consensus from the Bears forum is he’s no loss - carrying
too much weight this season and lacking fitness, so not the
threat he once was.

Surely if fit Walker and Symons come back into the starting line
up? Also I’d be surprised if Northmore was available to us. I’d
start David and let Tyrone come off the bench.

Won't Northmore be with England? That would suggest Jones will
probably come in at 13. Otherwise, though, that's a decent side
given who we will be missing and assuming the walking wounded
are all recovered.
Any word on when Wilco and Lewies are back?

I just changed that... I meant Walker, not Musk!
I hope Northmore gets an England shot but I fear he may be an
Odogwu this time round. Hopefully I'm wrong but if not involved
in first 6N game I hope he's available to us!

Agree with above, I'd hope Symons comes back in but wondered if
we might give him more time. Hopefully he's fit!

I think the bubble rules have changed to prevent the Odogwu
scenario.

Yes I just meant in that he didn't play any games for England. I
think Northmore might be in that category this time and possibly
get a shot in the summer/autumn. I hope he plays for Eng but if
not I'd have him back in the meantime! :)
