if that's the best referee scotland has i fear for the future of

I thought he was appalling in the first half, but then it turned
out he's magnetically aligned and primarily penalises the team
playing south to north.

Pretty much the high point of his evening seems to have been
having a pee before kick off with his ref link mic turned on!!!

Perhaps a "shocking day" and not a "shocking referee"?
Referee bashing has become tiresome, it happen after most games
......Castres still should have won, missed kicks (4 I think?)
and that hilarious dropped ball for the try....I think Bottica
had a much worse evening than the referee (Thank the Lord).

Shocking is pretty harsh. Lots of TMO questions and another game
lasting about 2 hours though. I can see some 6 nations games
heading beyond the 2hr mark this year.

Some fans just need someone to blame, usually because their team
lost, or the other team was better, or they don’t understand the
rules…
If you put 1000 people in a room who had never seen/heard of
sport, I bet 10% of them would have a go at the ref
automatically - perhaps ref hating is hard wired into our DNA: a
bit like opinions on Saracens.

Perhaps we should take note that the first person on social
media to say Mr Adamson was shocking was Stephen Jones the rugby
correspondent of The Times! I'm not making any further comments
except to note that his judgement and opinion is not highly
regarded on this blog!
