Family season tickets at evening matches

The club used to allow kids' season tickets to be used by adults
for evening matches. Does anyone know if they still do? I'll
contact the club tomorrow, but if anyone has recent experience
it would be handy...

I thought people already did but you have to pay the adult rate

I haven't done it this season, but I frequently took advantage
of the chance to substitute my children's season tickets for
adult tickets on Friday night matches previously. I've not seen
any information about this being withdrawn. I certainly hope you
get a positive response from the club!

It was s free upgrade to an adult ticket if the game was a
Friday night.

Apparently they stopped doing a free upgrade 2 seasons ago. It
cost me £22.50 per ticket to upgrade from a child to an adult
ticket for the 2 upcoming Friday night fixtures. Given the
amount of Friday fixtures and the fact that the 9yo STH would
not be home to 11pm at the earliest it will make me question
whether or not to renew.
Personally think this is very poor.

Thanks - useful to know. They've also got a lot firmer about
family season ticket renewals. We ticked over to our eldest
needing an adult ticket and were told that because his name was
the one on the family season ticket we would lose half of that
despite still having 2 adults and 2 children in the family. We
negotiated a 1 year reprieve, but we are also thinking about
going down to just the adult tickets now the kids are old enough
to make their own minds up about going.
Or we might keep our adult seats in the posh areas and buy kids
tickets in the South Stand so it matters less if they want to
skip the game.

When the kids go from being on a family ticket to needing their
own junior ticket is a bit of a shock to the wallet. For me, it
was almost a £200 increase :-(

When I first signed up to an adult plus child ticket some 5
years ago, the ability to swap to an adult ticket to take a mate
instead of my son (then aged 8) was one of the big attractions!
;D
The reality? I've never swapped it even once! My son enjoys it
too much not to take him, a late bedtime on a Friday doesn't
really matter (he's still extremely motivated to get up for
Saturday morning school rugby matches) and there's no way I'd
choose to take anyone else over him now. :)

I just tell my mate Steve to wear short trousers and to keep
calling me "Dad" all night.
The downside is that I can't send him to the bar to buy beer :-(

The whole Friday night match and the cost to swap was one of the
reasons we didn't renew. We've done it a few times but it gets
expensive and it's a hassle.
