The thing is, Jones is doing a lot of potentially good stuff,
but his understanding with his supporting players isn't good
enough yet. He's more likely than Andre to break the line - in
fact the problem is that when he does it his supporters aren't
reacting fast enough and he's getting isolated. Fixing that is a
whole squad issue, and not just on Jones. He needs to improve
his awareness and develop better options for when he doesn't
have support near (one of Andre's strengths is his ability to
stay on his feet for an extra step or two to buy time for his
support), but equally the team need to know that Jones will bust
the line and be ready to flood after him.
We need a proper backup at 12, and I don't think Northmore is
the answer; he's much better at 13. Anyanwu and Hyde might
become good 12s, but we don't know how close they are. Jones and
Lasike are the main contenders - but we don't know if they
budget stretches to keeping both of them or not. So I wonder if
the decision to replace him will hinge on Lasike's return to
fitness. Lasike is a more direct replacement for Andre - a bit
more limited in skills, but a similar carrying impact and pretty
reliable at getting the ball back.

Morris was having a decent run on the left wing, and then
suffered repeated concussions and we've not really seen him
since. I did wonder if he might have longer term concussion
issues?
Morris is solid, but since his absence Lynagh and Murley have
really kicked on, and Marchant, Northmore, Beard and David are
all excellent wing options. If we need to reduce the squad, then
its an area we could probably afford to lose someone

We are pretty stacked in the back 3 and 13.
Definitely more players than we need IMHO. I could easily see
Morris and R Chis going. Have we got cover in the academy too? I
think the club really should be looking to keep DC if at all
possible. He is so integral to the way we play.
