Not sure many readers here will understand S4C's commentary but
at least there is an option!

I once made the mistake of going on a walking trip in North
Wales on the same weekend as the RWC semi finals. I'd taken a
radio, but the only channels I could pick up from the mountain
we were on were an Irish one and a Welsh one.
The Irish one was mostly in English but would periodically cycle
through bursts of Irish and stopping to list the genealogy of
every racehorse in every upcoming race. The Welsh one was in
Welsh, but I could tell it was covering the rugby because
someone would say "Wilkinson" every 10 seconds or so.
I plumped for the Irish coverage, which cut to racehorses just
as Stirling Mortlock was lining up a 78th minute penalty to win
the match.
When it returned, the announcer began "England may have won the
Ashes, but their world cup hopes have gone up in ashes today as
they lost 10-12 to Australia..."
By which point I had had two thoughts: 1) England lost the Ashes
and 2) England were 12-10 up before you started talking about
horses, and there's no way to score negative points in rugby.
"I'm sorry," said the announcer, "AUSTRALIA may have won the
Ashes but...."
...much to the chagrin of my Australian friend, who was sharing
an earbud with me and hadn't worked out where the announcer had
gone wrong.

I'm not sure if it's SC4 or not but if you put your tele on to
welsh audio you can sometimes get english commentary.
