Good luck Tiz. Probably would have to move from Academy to main
squad this year and with Salary cap might have been limits for
us and he is a talent and sure other clubs would be knocking.
Good luck to him. Do not think he will be the last to go from
the academy! Would guess all those that resigned last year would
have 2 year deals so probably looking at news about players like
Louw, Botta, Els, Trainer, Symons, Evans, Wallace, Steele,
Laiske, Green etc about contract renewals….

Sarries have traditionally done very well out of poaching
obviously quality young players so I'm not all that surprised
they're the ones to pick him up. Our antipathy towards Sarries
is unlikely to be shared by the majority of pro players.

Assuming Sarries are seeing him as a long term partner to Itoje,
you can't really begrudge him leaving - it would be great for
his development and may well be something he's been encouraged
to do by the England coaches. I certainly see him as having
international potential post-RWC, and Sarries have produced a
pipeline of international locks whereas Quins seem to prefer to
have locks who have either finished their international career
or are a notch below that level.

Sarries poached James Johnston from us, and I don't recall JJ
playing as well for Sarries as he did with us.

I believe that was the case but wasn't there a scrum law change
       which disadvantaged JJ?

For the nth time, no they didn't. He wanted big French money but
nobody was buying. We signed an expensive former rugby player to
replace him and when he was left clubless Saracens took him.

I get it. Clearly they will throw money at him and I can see the
attraction of playing alongside Itoje. Also with Isiekwe
seemingly preferred at 6, it’s possible Tizard could quickly
find himself in the starting XV more or less straight away … but
for a supposedly dyed in the wool Harlequin, going to Saracens
       just isn’t palatable.
I’m pretty sure there is plenty of antipathy among our players
       towards Saracens.

Yes - we said at the time that the game had shifted towards
smaller, more strength endurance tightheads like Sinckler. A
       call that JK got right.

Well, it's official that he's joining sarries, and Cadan has
some thoughts about that judging by his twitter:

Musk also tweeting similar to Murley. If Sarries are offering
significantly more money than Quins were then I can’t blame
       Tizard for making that decision.
