It looked like a concussion on the field - didn't realise it was
that bad.

in the short term. Lawday has done very well at 7 considering
it's not his primary position. For the 6N, I imagine Chis will
shift to 8 and Wallace may come back in to contention.

Yep. First and foremost, let’s hope Jack has a swift and
straightforward recovery.
When it comes to a replacement, it’s worth remembering that
Kenningham came from more or less out of nowhere to become a key
member of the first team squad. I’m not sure we could repeat the
trick with Trenholm or Alikhan, but let’s try not to be too
despondent.

Can’t get your video to play Jammy, what happened? I thought I
saw one of their players go into the ruck shoulder first but not
sure if it was this incident.

Yeah it's a screenshot taken from the match replay, showing Gray
smashing him from the side, and another player leaping over the
ruck. He got hit hard from multiple angles, it's no surprise he
got hurt.

Any word on whether it's been picked up by the citing officer?
At the very least there's a degree of recklessness in the entry.

It wouldn't meet the threshold for a red card offence, so
extremely unlikely. It's "just" a penalty. It's an object lesson
in how poorly rucks are refereed and managed in pro rugby, but
it's miles away from being a citing.
